School children in conflict zones suffer from the trauma of war. They always fear bad things could happen again. Boys and girls live under the constant threat of abduction, rape, trafficking, physical and mental injuries, and death. This is true in Nigeria, where since 2015, parts of its northern region have witnessed an increase in violent attacks and kidnappings of school children by bandits and terrorist groups. To discuss this issue and more, we invite Jamilu Rabiu, a lecturer from the School of Continuing Education, Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria.
