The Center for Peace and Violence Prevention invites you to Dance Romania 2022.
Dance Romania is an intercultural humanitarian dance event that is open to every community represented in Romania, to all its inhabitants: locals, expats, students, NGOs, and civil society, the young and elderly, individuals with special needs, migrants, and members of every community which make up the multicultural palette of the country.
The event takes place this year in Cluj-Napoca, where interculturality and multiculturality have become symbolic. Its main purpose is to promote and celebrate diversity in Romania, build bridges, and create a safe and inclusive environment for all, regardless of race, gender, nationality, or religion.
Dance Romania is the place to enjoy great music, socialize, overcome stereotypes and hate speech, make new friends, and have fun while taking steps toward greater acceptance across the country.
Several well-established dance instructors will teach different dance styles ranging from Zumba, Afro dance, Brazilian, salsa, bachata, hip-hop, street dance, and more. All participants will learn a few simple steps which they will perform together, in a relaxed environment, and hopefully under a pleasant July sun.
